Samsung has released the July 2024 security update for Galaxy A34 users in various countries in Europe. This update aims to improve the privacy and security of the mid-segment smartphone. Users in other regions may also receive this update in the coming days.
New security update for Galaxy A34
Samsung’s July 2024 security update for Galaxy A34 comes with version number A346BXXS8CXG3. This update is available in European countries such as Austria, Croatia, France, Ireland, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Czech Republic and the United Kingdom. Other Galaxy A34 users in Europe may have received this update as well.
If you have a Galaxy A34 and live in one of the countries mentioned above, you can check for the new update on your phone. To do so, simply open the Settings app, go to the Software Update section, and tap on Download and install . Alternatively, you can download the appropriate firmware file and install it manually.
This new update only includes the July 2024 security patch and fixes over 50 vulnerabilities found in the previous software version. Don’t expect any new features or performance improvements with the new Galaxy A34 software update.
Samsung launched the Galaxy A34 in early 2023 with One UI 5.1 based on Android 13. The mid-range smartphone received the One UI 6.0 update based on Android 14 in late 2023 and the One UI 6.1 update earlier this year. The device is expected to receive the One UI 7.0 update based on Android 15 by the end of the year.
